Colors in Bank Transactions

You can upload your bank transactions into Atlanto. Atlanto then automatically tries to match incoming or outgoing payments with existing invoices or liabilities.

To help you immediately understand how reliable and accurate a match is, bank transactions are displayed with different colors. The examples below are based on incoming payments. The same logic also applies to outgoing payments.

Green

You created a QR invoice in Atlanto and the customer either:

  • paid the exact amount or
  • paid the amount minus a cash discount.

You can process this transaction automatically. Atlanto will automatically post:

  • 1020 / 1100
  • and, in case of a cash discount, additionally post the discount amount automatically to account 3800.

Beige

You created a QR invoice in Atlanto and the customer paid the invoice, but the amount does not exactly match the open invoice amount.

The customer either:

  • paid too much or
  • paid too little.

Purple

You created a QR invoice in Atlanto, the customer already paid it, and the incoming payment has already been booked. The receivable is therefore already closed.

The customer then pays the same invoice again. Atlanto recognizes this duplicate payment and marks it in purple.

Light Grey

Once you process a bank transaction, it is marked as completed and displayed in light grey.

These transactions are only visible if you choose to display completed transactions.

White

Atlanto could not find a matching invoice or open receivable for the incoming payment.
