VAT: Difference Between Incl. And Excl. When Invoicing

Payments On Account And Instalments In Atlanto

Oftentimes an amount is invoiced before the start of the order (payment on account) or the order amount is divided into several instalments.

In many cases, they then want to deduct the instalments or payments on account from the final invoice. Atlanto does not yet have the function (is in development) to deduct instalments or payments on account from the final invoice.

However, there are certain ways in which this can be handled in Atlanto.

Method With The Discount

If partial invoices and invoices on account have been created (these can be created like normal invoices and labelled accordingly with the title), the amount can be deducted in the total discount column on the final invoice:

Method Via The Project Management Function

With Atlanto, you can view all invoices issued for a project in project management:

This makes it possible to determine at the time of the final invoice how much of the order has already been invoiced and what is still outstanding:
