Order types are used when recording orders in the Sales Funnel. There is no general rule about how to use order types, so think about how you can best use this for your business right from the start.
The order types ‘existing’ and ‘new’ are stored as standard, to designate existing and new customers. For example, the following can be identified when analysing your order situation:
· How many orders are won from existing or new customers
· How likely you are to close with existing or new customers
Of course, you can add other order types that suit your needs. For example, you could add ‘Spring Fair 2021’ as an order type and assign it to orders won through the Spring Fair 2021. This allows you to analyse the order situation resulting from the Spring Fair 2021.
