Absence Types: Vacation and Time Credits
In Settings/Time Management/Absence Types, you have the option of defining different absence types. For each absence type, you can select a symbol and colour and choose whether you want it to be a holiday or time credit.
In the working time profiles, you define a basic profile, which you can then assign to each employee. Atlanto calculates the vacations to which each employee is entitled based on their workload.
As a manager (to be defined under Settings/Time Management/Employment Relationships), you can check the current time balance for each employee under Time Management/Personal Time Report. You can see an overview of absences under Time Management/Absences/Leave Report.
What is the difference between vacation credits and time credits?
Vacation Credit
When an employee enters an absence, at least half a day is deducted from their vacation allowance, depending on the entry. Only half-day increments are permitted (morning, afternoon or whole day).
Time Credit
Time credits work in the same way as holiday credits, but no holiday days are deducted from the employee’s balance. This is the case, for example, with paid absences due to illness, military service or training (apprentices). This means that the employee does not accumulate any negative hours.
Under ‘Employee overview’, you can see when the employee is absent by the corresponding symbol.
